I arrived at Christian's first birthday party an hour before his guests and was excited to get some shots while he got ready and his loved ones helped get the fun details in order. I had a great time capturing his excitement over the arrival of his guests, the colorful details and the many activities available to him and his friends. When it was time to blow out his candles, Christian's parents were cool enough to allow him to experiment and nearly dive into his cake. Being able to capture this adorable (and messy) memory for him and his parents almost made me as excited as he was. Being a part of Christian's big day truly was a pleasure.
