A Day in LA....

As Los Angeles natives, we had been in and out of the LA Arts District countless times in transit. However, something happens when you encounter even the most familiar spaces and faces with a camera in hand. We met with Jason and Kyna during their brief visit from San Francisco. The four of us walked around the streets that serves as a canvas to many artists and snapped shots amidst great conversation. We all appreciated rediscovering the expression LA had to offer, and decided that we would meet for a sequel to our session when my sister and I head up north. I'm looking forward to the change of pace, great company and the eclectic culture that will (hopefully) embrace our arrival. Until then, here are some of our favorite shots from of a day of rediscovery. Thanks for stopping by...enjoy!

Sophia Rose

As cliche as it may seem, spending Christmas Eve capturing the special moments of two wonderful families reminded us of what the holidays are truly about. During this fast paced season, it was nice to stop and be surrounded with the contagious innocence of children and the bliss they bring into the lives of their parents. From the moment we saw Sophia Rose and her adorable outfit, we were all smiles until the end of our session. It was clear that her parents were also spellbound by her cuteness. The three of them seemed to love spending quality family time together as much as I loved documenting it. We left this family session and headed over to meet our own family for Christmas dinner. I ended my night thankful for the opportunity to spend a day surrounded by love and laughter. When our hectic schedules allow us to take a breather, we often notice that life really is filled with many blessings. Here's to prolonging the spirit of the holidays throughout the entire year and embracing more of these moments. We hope you like the highlights from our session with Sophia Rose and her awesome parents. Thanks for stopping by...enjoy!
