A peaceful pause during the holiday rush...

During the hectic holiday season, as we juggled Christmas card deadlines and welcomed a few long nights of editing, it was nice to take a brief pause with this peaceful family for a calm portrait session. We can't say enough about how sweet these twin little girls and their parents were. There seemed to be a sense of harmony from the second we began our session. Monica and Natalee loved the camera almost as much as they loved spending time with each other. With headline making winds just a day or two before the shoot, a few strong gusts ended our session early. Or else, it seemed like all six of us could have continued shooting for hours. This family session has an extra special place with my sister and I, because we were excited to finally be able to use a blanket our grandmother knit in the seventies. She was so incredibly happy to see her pride and joy used in a session with such a happy family. We hope you all have a holiday season that's filled with nothing but peace and joy. Thanks for stopping by...enjoy!
