Jack

Jack can give you ellaborate details about the largest ocean in the world and how he swam accross it. When asked what kind of pet he would love to have the most, he replied without a doubt: "a moth." I followed him, and he allowed me to take his picture as long as I vow to tell everyone who views them that he is the youngest boy that swam accross the largest ocean in the world...so I present to you just that:

Natalie

Natalie and I share a birthday. Upon meeting her, I realized that as long as we're comfortable and in good company, we're both at our best. In addition to our newly discovered similarities, we share one major difference; her cute factor exceeds mine by a million. She also hates outfit changes a little more than I do. We agreed that she'll continue to be my painfully cute subject, as long as we keep frequent outfit changes out of our relationship.

Melany

My sister adamantly tried to convince me that her shoot would be the first one I wouldn't be able to use, due to her "inability to take good pictures." Naturally, being older (and much wiser) I proved her wrong and have the evidence to show for it. Above all, I'm happy I got to document my inseparable summer with my favorite person in the world.

Eric & Roxy

“The American Pit Bull Terrier is a powerful dog with an undeserved reputation for inherent viciousness. A Pit Bull that receives attention, firm training, and thorough socialization makes a wonderful family guardian that is trustworthy with children. Pit Bulls need committed, experienced owners that exude leadership” (anhttp://pitbull.rescueme.org/California). Eric is the prototypical responsible Pit Bull owner described in this statement. Eric and Roxy spend every playful day breaking these unfair and ignorant stereotypes placed on this loving breed. We had our shoot in a familiar location where Roxy attends and excels in regular agility courses. Loving, playful and full of life, she was incredible to work with. Thanks Eric, for being so well prepared and resourceful.
 

Christina

Christina’s free spirit and high energy have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As my cousin and childhood side-kick this photo shoot flowed naturally. I aimed to capture the vibrant and contagious care free spirit that dates back to her five year old self. I’m thrilled to have been able to document the expressions I’ve come to know so well.

Julia

Meet Julia; my accidental and delightful subject. As she carefully observed her Aunt Arlene’s photo shoot, she subtly stated that she too, “wanted to wear a dress like that” and take pictures. Of course excited for such eagerness, I took a short break during Arlene’s shoot to quickly discover that Julia was a natural! She came up with each and every pose and expression, and needed no direction from me. She loved the “fun game” we were playing and gave me shot after beautiful shot! She is a doll.

Arlene

Growing up I was always willing to take orders from Arlene, so having her follow my lead for once was a brand new concept for us. Arlene lent herself and her day to me and my camera and was eager to help give life to the vision I had for her. No unusual or painful idea was off limits. Being so comfortable in her own skin, every shot captured her care-free and confident nature. In return for her cooperation, Arlene had only one request; a photo in her most sacred attire and an ode to her favorite team.
